Join me in a world where:

Educators. Students. Schools.

Are ALL regulated.

I’m Hallie and I was the “perfect student”—AP courses, color-coded planner, high GPA—but when I graduated, I realized I didn’t know who I was. I only knew how to perform, please, and perfect. That left me with a dysregulated nervous system, constantly asking: Am I good enough?

In 2010, I became a teacher—and quickly realized the system only amplifies that question. Educators are overworked, overburdened, and overwhelmed. Students are tested, compared, and pressured. We need to get back to the heart of schooling and the key to learning.

Learning isn’t just academic. It’s rooted in the nervous system. When a child’s nervous system is dysregulated, they literally can’t learn, no matter how good the lesson plan is.

That’s why I created Regulate 2 Educate. My mission is to make nervous system regulation the foundation of education—helping students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn, while empowering the adults who guide them.

Imagine if this wasn’t just a classroom practice, but the core of an entire school. Policies. Routines. Environments. Adults who work within them. All regulated.

Education can be about connection, not compliance. By centering nervous system regulation, we can reimagine schools where children—and the adults in their lives—are equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.

It’s about moving from asking,

What’s this child not doing?”

To asking,

“How is the education system meeting—or missing—the needs that help this child feel safe and ready to learn?”
